TThanks for the gresat video. The Source Audio Atlas Compressor is simply the best most versatile compressor that I have ever used. Period. And I am a bass compressor Freak!
I'm looking for something with a brutal distortion or fuzz tone. I'm not interested in modulation, I'm not interest in subtle and I have zero intrest in clean tones. So which pedals kick ass and sound utterly cool. Nice playing by the way
I went to Thomann a couple of weeks ago and bought a line 6 HX stomp. I’m still figuring it out, but it’s such a cool multi-pedal that fits on my pedal board.
My name is Mike my Wife and I share this account and the Zombiee is the real deal OMG I want that pedal I have been looking for this forever!!!!!!! Great Job as always Patrick keep up the great work and Awesome video see you in 2023 brother keep rockin🎸🤘🏻🧟♂️😈
Thanks for a great review. The best reviews really show off the differences between gear. I’m doing sessions with a metal band and as such, playing with a pick, and using some dirt and compression. This was a perfect video for me and very informative! Subbed and liked!
What a great run-down for the best bass pedals of’22!! I have had my eye on the Zzombee pedal for a while, but was unsure of the practicality of it on Bass. Great to see it start off the video!! What puzzles me is that the All Pedal Macrodose didn’t make the cut 😱 (perhaps it was released before 2022? ). Anyway, that my favorite pedal to fart around with at this moment. Keep making great reviews like this so I can dial in my sound, bruh 😎
I got the AO Photon by Darkglass. Absolutely gorgeous sound. I've not really used effects on my bass. I've been playing for 37 years. I fell in love and became a Darkglass stalker haha. I bought a Microtubes Infinity and the ADAM too. I absolutely love the "fat" Darkglass sound. Love your pedal review videos. You got to stop or I'm going to go broke haha.
No top jacks on the rattler doesn't seem very modern. And isn't the Atlas digital? Empress or Origin hold the top tier, even the ampeg and mxr analogue compressors are great. Doesn't the zombie have no sub? What are these the top five of? This stinks. Real top five: Dod carcosa Empress bass comp EQD spatial delivery Flatley bass Chief Origin's new amp pedals
The Atlas is digital but what it lacks in analog it more than makes up for in flexibility. Not only can you fine tune whatever kind of compression you want....but you basically have 2 compressors to work with. Serial compression works wonders on bass.
@@PorchBass I got one to test on my guitar board and moved my origin stacked to my smaller board. Tested in on my bass and am now grabbing one for my bass board.
@@sky-magnet I do love a nice compressor but have an inherent distrust of DSP. Too many 'perfect sound forever' claims but then in five years the next gen arrives. The c4 is a great pedal for DSP.
Damn! This sounds dope!
Thank you for the love guys ❤
Bzzzzzzz
You make EVERY pedal sound sick bro 🤙🏼
It is his job to sell them to you afterall. That being said I agree this guy can create some sick tones
@@emmanuelrogercosta9671 plenty of people are salesman, may they reach his skill level
agreed
this year I got the Jam Pdals riply fall its an fantastic modulation padel and absolutly worth it
Patrick's channel is awesome, ya'll need to check it out! Very cool for Thomann to feature him
I think it's illegal for the A string to vibrate that much. :D
i like Harley Benton Double Down
I ve got YYZ pedal and Bass Big Muff Pi this year. Love it
Awesome reviews, thanks for this! *filling out Christmas list* 👍

No chorus ? no flanger ?

the PHOTON is everything for me . its my sound ! . plenty of people miss how good it is clean !
I use my Photon for clean sound. It sounds so sick when it's clean and the "pop" sound when you thump is sickness incarcerate. Love it

I really love mine too! I just bought a current doubler to use my pedalboard power, it's great I don't have that annoyingly short power cable ;)
Great review! Thanks for being so informative!
I got the Darkglass infinity. Winning
SO MANY PEDALS IN 2022!! but if I had to choose one it would be the Myung Ashdown Drive
My pedal-best pedal 100%analog-Nobels bass overdrive v1 (1993)best!!!!
Great tones, ideas! Nice one!
What was the bass you used with the first pedal?
Groovy.

Awesome as always! Can anyone tell me *exactly* which Fender Jazz he is playing? The "greenish" one with the black scratch plate?
Hell yeah!!

The zombee sounds a bit like the source audio ultrawave
4:30 is that an actual song?
You forgot to sing "shameless plug" with the Harley Benton pedal
Time to get some new gear

We want Julia!
That is really rude, bro. Are interested in bass guitars or in jerking of?
Ah man, Patrick is awesome too! I enjoy both of their videos. Give my boy a chance 😅😂
Don't hate, Patrick is doing a good job with his videos!
She did top 5 bass amps a few days back.
The Zombie sounds rad!!
Where’s Julia????????????????
Wasn't she still on tour with No Saints when this video was aired?
I got a tech 21 Steve Harris sans amp. Eliminated most of my need for any other pedals.
